Listado de vuelos afectados por la huelga convocada por SEPLA los próximos 25, 27 y 30 de enero|List of Flights Canceled Due to the SEPLA Pilots’ Strike on January 25th, 27th, and 30th

19/01/2012

¿A quién debo dirigirme?

We now have the list of flights affected by the SEPLA pilots’ union strike on January 25th, 27th and 30th. Our Programming and Crew Management colleagues have reorganized the flight schedule, and the entire company is working to find alternatives for the canceled flights so as to assist those affected.

Some things you must keep in mind:

  • If your flight is affected, we will send you an email if you bought your ticket directly on our website and we have your email address. If you bought your ticket through an agency, we will alert them to change your ticket and inform you.
  • If you plan to fly on Iberia via codeshare with another carrier (such as British Airways, American Airlines, or LAN, which are oneworld alliance members with whom we maintain agreements), be assured that these companies’ flights will not be affected by an Iberia strike. You can determine if a given flight is operated by Iberia or another carrier by looking at your ticket, then checking it against the list of cancelled flights; this would be the quickest way of confirming if your flight will be affected or not. You could also check directly with the carrier whose codeshare the flight carries. In any case, if it is in fact affected, you would need to contact that carrier or your travel agent for a list of alternative travel options.
  • If on the other hand the company which operates your codeshared flight is not Iberia,it will not be affected even though it carries an IB code. That is the case we’ve been informing you about in recent days: IB4XXX, IB5XXX and IB7XXX flights, as well as IB8XXX, which is operated by subsidiary Iberia Regional/Air Nostrum.

We have a special telephone number to assist affected customers: 902 100 988. Our colleagues will be able to help you on that line, or on our Serviberia call center number: 902 400 500 (from Spain). For calls from countries other than Spain, please click here.

Whom should I approach?

  • For flight changes: If you bought your tickets in an agency and have not yet flown, you must contact the agency. If you have already flown a leg of your itinerary, you may contact us to change the return flight. Tickets bought from Iberia directly are changed by Iberia.
  • For reimbursement: If you bought your tickets in an agency, the only way to request a refund is through that agency. If you bought your tickets from Iberia, Iberia will handle your refund request. On www.Iberia.com you will find an option to request refunds in the strike information section. If not, you may request your refund by calling 902 100 988.
